Celebrations // Let's celebrate

This morning, we had Aspen's 1st Birthday Party.

(her actual birthday is Sunday)

The party was beautiful...

she was surrounded by many who love her...

Including her Mama, who can't get enough of her.

We will have a little family celebration tomorrow.

And then, when I get around to it, I will blog about it.

Thanks to everyone who came to make it a special day for our girl!

Today, it's our birthday.

She woke up in L.A.

I woke up in Seattle.

We are so alike.

But different, too.

We both have a little sparkle in our eyes.

We both have things that make us happy,

silly,

and sometimes, sad.

One thing we have always had, and always will

Each other.

Happy Birthday, dear sister of mine.
